Flip-flop prison break
A US prisoner used his flip-flop to escape from jail. Deante Gholston, 20, – who was in prison on charges of armed robbery – managed to use the beach footwear to open his cell door and flee the Bibb County jail in Georgia, without staff noticing his disappearance.

A photo showing two 55ft-long snakes in China has become an internet hit. The unnerving picture showed two enormous boas which were apparently found by workers clearing forest for a new road outside Guping city.
